Awards:

• Recipient of Arts Council of Great Britain Writers’ Awards in 2009 and 2003, as well as grants for poetry and fiction.
• Awarded the Society of Authors Cholmondeley Award in 2004.
• Named a Villa Mont Noir Laureate (France) in 2006.
• Received second prize in the National Poetry Competition.
• Recipient of grants from the Royal Literary Fund and London Arts Board.
